Dr Ruth Weiner has over 20 years experience of working in the NHS with adults with a range of life difficulties such as stress, depression, anxiety, and psychological management of pain.
Aswell as providing counselling for a range of issues , Ruth also works with postnatal depression, family difficulties ,worry and coping with health conditions. In addition, Ruth can provide psychological support for coping with neurological conditions such as stroke, MS and mild-moderate memory problems.
Ruth is a chartered Clinical psychologist and am registered with the Health Care and Professions Council. She works in a professional and empathic style to support individuals to explore concerns that are important to them and find solutions.
Ruth has experience of using a range of treatments and can work to help individuals make life affirming changes within a short time frame. She draws upon a number of treatment models including CBT (Cognitive behavioural therapy) Acceptance and Commitment therapy and mindfulness models.
